things you can buy that will actually improve your mobility and reduce your pain. no, really!
If I had a cent for every time I got an email telling me about something that would help me move better, or stop me hurting, well, I'd have at least $10 or so, and that's this month alone! And that's before counting in all the Facebook ads and Google ads and stuff that gets advertised to us on TV and magazines.
Most are just false promises that prey on people's desire to feel better, but there are some products I recommend to my clients. These are products that I know, have used, and feel happy to recommend. It's the stuff I genuinely believe in.
Some of these links are affiliate links, because I believe so strongly in what they do. You don't have to click on them though, you can just type the address into your web browser if you prefer.
We spend our lives with our feet shoved in shoes and trainers that actually restrict our mobility, of both the foot and the ankle. Long term, this can cause problems because if we can't move our feet properly, the rest of our body needs to compensate, which can result in issues around the knees, hips or even back! It can also lead to issues with the toes, like hammer toes and bunions.
Xero Shoes make "barefoot" shoes. Barefoot shoes have more flexible, thinner soles, and the shoe itself is shaped to allow your foot to move naturally - they have a larger toe box so that your toes aren't squished, and can move and flex easily.
Xero Shoes have flat soles, so you'll find that you can balance and move better. And walking in barefoot shoes actually makes movement more fun, as your brain gets feedback about the ground under your foot in a way that it can't when you're wearing fashion style shoes or trainers.
Xero Shoes have a wide range of styles, and I genuinely believe they make the best barefoot shoes out there.

A wonderful blend of epsom salts, arnica and essential oils, I've been recommending Epsomgel to my clients for a long time! It's great for reducing aches and pains in joints and muscles, and can be useful for aiding recovery after coming to see me for RAPID NeuroFascial Reset therapy.

You might have already heard about the herbal power of arnica and epsom salts when it comes to helping with pain on movement, but far too often the only way of using epsom salts is to sit in a bath, and arnica involves unpleasant oils or shower gels or tablets.
But Epsomgel, made right here in Canada, combines arnica, epsom salts and essential oils (including lavender, which helps with relaxation and means that you don't smell medicinal!) in a non-irritating water base, making it easy to apply, and because it comes in a portable tube, you can top up any time you feel necessary.
I will often have Epsomgel available to buy when you come and see me.
